Jan 11, 1978 — Sep 16, 2026
Antonio Demetrius Mosby Jr., lovingly known as Tony, was born January 11, 1978, in Las Vegas, Nevada to Brenda Davis and Darvin Mosby. He passed away on September 16, 2026.
Tony’s formative years were spent at “The House”. 700 Kasper, where his host of friends would frequent to eat, play and sleep over. These were years where his bond with his Mother was cemented and lifelong friendships were birthed.
Throughout his childhood, Tony was a talented football player and an honored academic student. A product of the Clark County School District, Tony graduated with honors from Valley High School in 1996, before matriculating to Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he majored in Mass Communications and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001.
Shortly thereafter returning to Las Vegas, Tony married his High School sweetheart, Natasha Pittman. To this union three children were born. Antonio Jr., Taylor and Trinity. Tony loved his family and being a father was the joy of his life. He was an active and present father who could be counted on to volunteer at many of his Children’s school extra-curricular events. Whether it was a dance performance, game or field trip, Tony could be counted on to be there. Tony had many interests including cooking, golfing, traveling and exploring various cuisines with his children. He was community-minded and also gave his time as a coach with Pop Warner and Agassi Prep as well as a mentor of young boys in the Gentlemen by Choice organization.
Tony further shared his passion for youth and zest for learning when he became a Teacher at Robert O. Gibson Junior High School. As an English Teacher, he had flair for bringing approaches and creativity to his classroom and he made learning fun for his Students.
Tony made an impact wherever he was and his presence will forever be missed.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Sue Mosby and Grandfather John H. Davis Jr.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU
MATTHEW 11: 28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my Yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
I AM FREE
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I am following the path God has laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stary another day, to laugh to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, it is these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow, I wish to you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored such good friends, good times, and loved ones’ touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me now.
