In Loving Memory of Delinda Lloyd
July 27, 1961 – September 11, 2026
A beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend.
“Though she is gone too soon, she is victorious in eternity with her sweet Savior, Jesus.”
Celebrating Delinda's Life
Delinda Lloyd was born on July 27, 1961, in Pennsville, New Jersey. She spent much of her life in Las Vegas, where she built a life filled with family, friendships, hard work, adventure, and memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her.
Delinda was a hard worker throughout her career in administration, including positions with Howard Hughes, American Nevada, and IGT. She also had a generous heart for serving others and gave her time to Meals on Wheels, local charities, and fundraising events.
But her greatest legacy was not found in a job title or an accomplishment. It was found in the people she loved and the ways she showed that love.
Delinda wasn't necessarily someone who expressed her feelings with a lot of words, but she had her own beautiful way of loving people. She paid attention. She remembered the little things. She gave thoughtful gifts and created experiences. She showed up.
And her family knew that was her way of saying, “I love you.”
A Love Story
Delinda's life included many chapters, and in her later years she found a special love with Jeff Davis, her husband and devoted companion.
Jeff often spoke of Delinda as the love of his life. Their relationship was an important part of her final chapter, and he cherished the life and memories they shared together.
She leaves behind not only a husband who loved her deeply, but a man who will carry her memory with him for the rest of his life.
A Grandmother's Love
One of the greatest joys in Delinda's life was being a grandmother to Aurora and Anastasia.
She loved those girls deeply and wanted to be part of their lives in every way she could. She tried never to miss a soccer game, was involved in holidays and family celebrations, and treasured the time she spent making memories with them.
Her granddaughters will grow up knowing how very much their grandmother loved them.
The memories she made with them—both the big moments and the ordinary ones—will become part of their story forever.
The Things She Loved
Delinda loved the things that made life an adventure.
She loved music, cooking, traveling, motorcycles, and her many beloved dogs over the years.
She always dreamed of going to Europe and wished she could experience it someday. Although that particular dream never came to pass, she traveled whenever she had the opportunity and loved discovering new places and making new memories.
And then there was her laugh.
Those who knew Delinda will remember it.
Her beautiful laugh was unmistakably hers—a sound that could bring warmth and joy into a room. It is one of the things her family will miss hearing most.
Her Journey to Jesus
One of the most precious parts of Delinda's story was her journey to faith.
In September 2025, Delinda's daughter, Christina, had the honor and privilege of leading her mother to Jesus. Delinda accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and began a new and deeply meaningful chapter of her life.
From that moment forward, she continued growing in her faith and learning more about the Lord. Her time walking with Jesus on earth was far shorter than anyone would have wanted, but the significance of that year will never be forgotten.
For Christina, it was one of the greatest privileges of her life to share Jesus with her mother and to witness her mother's heart turn toward the Lord.
And for our family, it brings a comfort that cannot be put into words to know that Delinda did not leave this world without knowing her Savior.
Her journey with Jesus may have begun only a short time before she left us, but it was real, it was precious, and it changed everything.
We grieve because we loved her and because she was taken from us far too soon. But we also hold onto the promise that this goodbye is not forever.
Delinda is now with her Savior.
And one day, we will see her again.
Her Family
Delinda leaves behind her loving husband, Jeff Davis; her daughter, Christina Cervantes, and son-in-law, Joe Cervantes; her beloved granddaughters, Aurora and Anastasia; her son, Corey Nieves; her parents, Noel Lloyd and Barbara Finchum; her sisters, Sheri and Tonya; and her brothers, Larry and Noel, along with their families.

Share a Memory
If you knew Delinda, you probably have a story.
Maybe it was a holiday, a trip, a soccer game, a meal she cooked, a gift she picked out, a funny moment, one of her adventures, or simply a time when her laugh filled the room.
We would love to hear it.
Please share a favorite memory, story, photograph, or message. These memories will mean so much to her family and will help us preserve the pieces of Delinda that made her uniquely herself.
Until We Meet Again
She was gone too soon.
There were places she still wanted to see, memories still waiting to be made, and more time we all wish we could have had with her.
But we are grateful for the time we were given.
We will remember Delinda for the love she showed in her own way, for her generous heart, her adventurous spirit, her love for her family, her beautiful laugh, and the memories she left behind.
And above all, we will remember that in the final year of her life, she found Jesus.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we take comfort in knowing that Delinda is now victorious in eternity with her sweet Savior, Jesus.
Until we meet again, Mom.
We love you, and we will carry you with us always.
