Elva Hernandez

November 12, 1960 — June 19, 2025

Our beautiful beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand mother, and wife Elva Hernandez Ayala. She was born on November 12, 1960 in Santa Paula, California. Born to the beloved and late Lucy and Louis Hernandez. She came into the world a beautiful healthy baby girl right inside the white house on Oak St. Born right on the kitchen table as she would say. The 7th child out of 8. The baby girl in the family. She cherished and shared many memorable stories about her childhood to us. Nevertheless she loved her family very much especially her mother. Later on in her adolescent life, Elva became a mother at a young age. It was then she met her soulmate Andres. Both caught the attention of one another's big heart, sense of humor, hard work ethic, protection, their magnetic love for one another wasn't for anyone else to understand. Along the years together they had a few more babies. Balancing motherhood and being a devoted wife she decided to finish her high school studies. She completed her credits, got her diploma and went out to the work field. In 2001 she moved her family and became a native to Las Vegas. It was her new home and that was great way for a fresh start. She worked for many different occupations in the food industry. She loved cooking yummy dishes for family. She loved watching her favorite TV shows and movies. She loved dancing in her kitchen to her favorite songs. Music made her very happy. She became a familiar face at her favorite Casino the Aliante those were her weekend getaways hanging out with friends and her oldest son. Elva loved her life here and cherished every moment like it was her last. She was a strong mother inside and out. Her love, her sarcasm, her humor, her big warm hugs, her sweet kisses will be deeply missed. Our mother will always have a special place in each of our hearts. She said when she was gone she didn't want us to be sad for too long. That she wasn't in pain anymore. That she was reunited with her parents and God in heaven. She would want us to continue being great and successful at everything that we work so hard for. For her grand babies to follow their dreams. And that she will be watching and cheering for them from up above. She would want us to remember funny, yes even upset times, and happy memories we shared when she was here. Truly one-of-a-kind mom. She is survived by her husband Andres, her three sons Tito, Lonsi, Greg. Her two daughters Jules and Ari. She is also survived by her grand children and great-grand children. Until we meet again mom. Thank you for everything Your beautiful spirit will forever live in us all. Rest in peace momma
