Las Vegas

We honor and celebrate the Inspiring Life of ERIKA IMOGENE ARNTZEN.

A LIFE WELL LIVED

Erika Imogene Arntzen, 28, of Las Vegas Nevada, passed away on June 17, 2024. She was born on October 25, 1995, in Sterling Illinois to Maria Rodriguez and Erik Arntzen.

At the age of 5, Erika and her family moved to Las Vegas Nevada, where she spent most of her childhood and teenage years. Her adventurous spirit later led her to California, where she spent her late teens and early adulthood. However, Erika always found her way back to her family in Las Vegas Nevada.

Those who truly knew Erika were well acquainted with her enormous heart, exceptional sense of humor, and overwhelming generosity. She was known for her playful banter with loved ones and even those she didn’t particularly care for. Erika lived life on the edge- for better or worse- and that’s what made her special to so many different people. Her ability to work a room was unparallelled, and even through the toughest of times managed to make moments memorable.

Erika made a profound impact on everyone who met her and on many who never will. Her sense of humor, generosity and wisdom touched countless lives as she constantly strived to make the world a better place for others. Erika’s love for her family and friends was boundless, as reflected in her own words: “I love you past the heavens cause the heavens never stop”.

In a final act of selflessness, Erika was an organ donor, ensuring that her generosity would continue to touch lives even after her passing.

Erika was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Vicki Lyn Oviatt and Gustavo Rodriguez, and her Nephew Angel Villa.

Erika is survived by her loving family, including her mother Maria Rodriguez; her father Erika Arntzen & Karla Dennison, her brother Bryce Ray Villa and wife Stephanie Ochoa, her sister Payton Victoria Sue Arntzen and husband Joseph Crawford, Her beloved Aunt & Uncle Vanessa (Busy) and James Dean West (JD), Uncle James E. Millis III, and Dan Rodriguez with his wife Jenny Rodriguez, Aunt Nicole Tipton, and paternal Grandparents Nyla & Terry Winchel. Erika will be deeply missed by an array of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins

A small celebration of life will be held in Las Vegas Nv soon. Location and Date are to be determined. A Memorial will be held in the spring of 2025 in Illinois, and family and friends will be notified of this upcoming event.

To Erika, we say farewell for now, but we will never forget the light she brought into so many of our lives. May she rest in peace, and may we continue to honor her memory by living our lives to the fullest, just as she did.
