October 11, 1950 - May 4, 2026 Gary Steven Cabagua, Sr., lovingly known as "Blue Boy," passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026, at his home in Henderson, Nevada. He was 75 years old. Born on October 11, 1950, in Whitmore, Hawaii, Gary lived a life full of love, adventure, and
deep devotion to his family and friends.
SURVIVED BY
Gary is survived by his beloved partner, Cynthia Young, and his
two children: his daughter Victoria Cambe and his son Gary S.
Cabagua, Jr. He is also survived by his stepson Joseph Young. He leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren,
who brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life. Gary is also survived by his four sisters: Florence Soberano, Pauline Dela Cruz, Darlene Guerrero, and Edna Matthias; his
sister-in-law Renee Lyman; and his brother Stanley Cabagua.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY
Juan Cabagua (dad), Leatrice Cabagua (mom), Ivan Cabagua (brother), Christine Cartwright (sister), Phillip Cabagua (brother), Gerald Cabagua (brother), and Randy Cabagua (brother)
A LIFE WELL LIVED Gary will be forever remembered for his passion for diving and spear fishing and pursuits that gave him a deep connection to the ocean he loved. He was equally known for his exceptional cooking, which brought family and friends together around the
table time and again. His wisdom, laughter, and the memories he created with those
he loved most will never be forgotten.
Now among the angels, may he rest in love.
