James "Jim" Henry Wiesen, 76, passed away peacefully after a long fought battle against cancer on October 19th, 2025 in Las Vegas. Born on May 15, 1949, in Pennsylvania, Jim was a cherished son of the late Ralph and Mary Elizabeth Wiesen. He grew up surrounded by love and had a lifelong bond with his siblings, Tom Wiesen, Bill Wiesen and Alice Wiesen- who survive him. Jim served his country in the United States Navy as an electrician, after his service he continued his electrical career until retirement. He is survived by his daughter Jamie, and three step children, Dixie, Gina, and Jesse, several grandchildren, who call him Jimbo, great grandchildren, and his dear long time friends, who we consider family, Robert and Cynthia Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his wife Dixie Marlene Wiesen. Jim was known for his warm heart, easy going nature, and quiet strength he brought to those around him. He found his greatest joys in fishing, golf, and playing Buffalo. Jim was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a kind and gentle man. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
