James Michael Mulkerin III

James Michael Mulkerin III, 25, passed away on 1/1/2026. James graduated from Bonanza High School in 2019, and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2023 with a degree in Criminal Justice.

In high school and in college, he was an active member of (J)ROTC. He loved Dungeons and Dragons, many video games, the Star Trek universe, Doctor Who, and reading (often thousand-plus page translated novels). He was known for his sarcastic quick-witted humor, joyful and generous laugh, and his calm integrity.

James leaves behind his father James Mulkerin Jr. and step-mother Angela Mullerin of West Springfield, MA, three younger siblings, Logan, Noah, and Sylvia, his grandmother, Jania Lambert of Nevada, his grandmother Barbara Dubrasky of Pennsylvania, his grandfather James Mulkerin Sr of Florida, his step-grandfather Gary Greany of Massachusetts and many friends both near and far. He was predeceased by his mother, Kellee Mulkerin, and his grandfather, Ronald Lambert.

He was an uncommonly gentle, kind, and patient older brother, son, grandson, and friend, and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

A memorial will be held in Massachusetts, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to TakeThis.org, a nonprofit supporting video gamers and mental health.
