Jane DiStasio, born January 16, 1949, in Melrose, Massachusetts, to Ray Claflin and Pearl Barnes, passed away on April 30, 2026.

Jane grew up in Saugus, Massachusetts and graduated from Saugus High School before attending Malden Business School. She began her career at Transition Electronics in 1967, where she worked faithfully until the company’s closing.

She later married her beloved husband, Peter DiStasio, and the two made their home in Maine until his passing in 1995. She cherished her years there—especially her time by the ocean and long walks along the beaches. In 1996, Jane moved to Henderson, Nevada, and eventually settled in Boulder City in 2000, where she spent the remainder of her life.

Jane had a deep love for the outdoors, for animals of every kind, and for the joy of riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. She found peace and happiness in nature, whether by the ocean or under the wide desert sky.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi DiStasio; her significant other, Keith Reed; her granddaughters Amber White, Megan Reed, Ava Reed, and Maya Reed; and her great‑grandchildren Grayson Francoeur, Cora Ingram, and Wyatt Reed.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ray Claflin and Pearl Barnes, and her husband, Peter DiStasio.

Jane will be remembered for her kindness, her adventurous spirit, and the love she carried for her family and the world around her.
