Hey Mommy, it’s Baby Karen, your junior. Growing up I always wondered why you named me after yourself. Growing up I didn’t like it much because it was so proper and everyone had such unique names. As I grew older I started to love my name! I got a chain with “Karen” on it and not “Kay” as I would call myself. You loved that chain and wanted it off my neck lol. I love “Karen” because it’s so much strength and wisdom to come behind this name and now I know why we have the same name. I love how you kept going no matter what adversity life threw at you, you kept going. You showed me how to stand tall even though you’re all of 5,2” lol. You showed me how to survive and you left me with things that I will carry on forever and through my children. When I gave you your first grandchild you were one of the most happiest person, and you made sure to fulfill your grandma duties and came no matter where I was on the bus to come get your grand baby. Those moments I will always hold near and dear to me. Mommy you are amazinggggg! I don’t know ANYONE who can go through what you went through in life and just keep smiling you smiled all the way to your last day. You showed me to be grateful for your blessings, small or big. That there’s always someone going through worse than you. That little girl in me wants to go back in time so bad so that I can hear your wheelchair creeping up on my door to wake me up for school again. Riding on the back of your wheelchair to get dropped off and picked up from school, you would call it your “Cadillac” and drive as fast as you can in your chair. You always made sure you picked me up with my favorite bag of chips and drink and if you didn’t have it, we were going to get it! Lol. I hold so many memories with you, Sad, Funny, and Serious memories with you. I could go on forever but that one’s for the books. Love you forever
